Pilanesberg National Park (2) - Mankwe Dam
As stated elsewhere, the few hours on the afternoon of November 26th we spent in the big hide at Mankwe Dam, was the high point of our game park experience in South Africa, and will be very hard to match anywhere we go anywhere, anytime. The animals just kept on coming down to that waterhole - lake, actually - and we just sat and watched, enthralled, for about 4 hours in all.
